Reiki is an ancient system of energy healing re-discovered and brought into mainstream use by Dr. Makao Usui of Japan.   

While Reiki has a very ancient and spiritual history, it is easily adapted for practical use in today’s world.

Everyone on earth today is capable of being a Reiki healer.  Once you have been attuned the Chi or Universal Life Force energy flows automatically, and has proven beneficial for humans, animals and even plant life responds to it.  This is a healing skill that can be used  instantly- daily- anywhere, without the need for any special equipment or preparation. 

There are three levels of Reiki attunements or classes.  Each level class is completed in one day and you will receive a certificate, and a booklet for each level with instructions and diagrams. 

The classes are taught in my home and are limited to no more than 6 students.  This insures that everyone will have the chance to ask questions and share in a warm and comfortable environment. 

According to Diane Stein, in her book Essential Reiki Teaching Manual, Medical studies have determined that Reiki provides the following benefits:     

* Lowers blood pressure      

* Lowers heart and respiration rates      

* Reduces bleeding and pain      

* Raises the red blood cell count      

* Helps insomnia      

* Calms anxiety

* Reiki Level One . . . . . . .  . . $60.00

In the Reiki Level One class you will receive your first attunement and learn to use the Cho Ku Rei symbol. You will learn the basic history of Reiki healing, how energy healing works, chakras,  hand positions for healing self and others,  procedure and etiquette during group sessions, how to conduct a session with a client, client confidentiality etc.   By the end of this class you will have received and given Reiki healing.  Your certificate and class booklet with detailed instructions for reference will go home with you.

 

 

 

* Reiki Level Two . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $60.00

In the Reiki Level Two class you are attuned and learn to use two more symbols.  I will teach you the distant healing technique and we will explore the use crystals, stones, wands,rattles, the pendulum, Tibetan bowl and bells to augment a healing session.  You will take home your certificate and class booklet with detailed instructions for reference.

                                                                       

 

 * Reiki Level Three & Master . . .  . $80.00 

You are given your final attunement with two more Reiki symbols. You will learn how to prepare yourself to teach Reiki to others and pass attunements.  We will practice attunning for each level with all of the symbols in class.  Your final Master certificate and a class booklet with detailed instructions for teaching each level are for you to take home.

Please Note

 From time to time students ask to register to take Reiki Levels I, II, III & Master  all within a few weeks of each other.  My recommendation has always been that the student leave about 6 months (minimum) between each level.  Each level attunement will open up your life in many ways, you will have breakthroughs, emotional and physical releases – etc,  and you will need to accomodate the increase in energy that each level brings.  This is wonderful and very exciting, but canot be rushed.  Although I’ve heard of people taking all three levels in one weekend, I don’t recommend it for your sake.  It is much more comfortable for you to take your time and fully integrate each level into your being.
