Essence Testing with Herbal & Pacific Flower and Sea Essences
An essence is the “Spiritual Energy” or “Life Force” of a plant or animal. Everything alive has a different “Life Force” unique to them.
We have found that this energy can imprint into water using sunlight. There are many makers of essences around the world. One of the most famous is the “Bach Flower Essences” Made by Dr. Edward Bach, an English physician, early in the last century.
Many Essence practitioners believe it is important to use essences that are made close to where you live, which is why I use the “Pacific Flower and Sea Essences” by Sabina Pettitt, from Vancouver Island, and my own Herb Essences made in my herb garden and surrounding wild areas.
Each essence has unique properties that will work to bring our three energy bodies, the Emotional, Mental and the Physical, into balance. The result may be very subtle, perhaps nothing is felt at all until we realize we have been reacting or feeling differently about an issue in our lives since taking the essence. Many will use an essence to help them move through a difficult period in their lives. The support and change can be profound.
Although every essence will effect the Physical body, it is important to remember that most illness or dis-harmony begins in our subtle, Emotional and Mental bodies. After time this disharmony will move to the physical body creating pain and/or illness. By balancing our subtle bodies with essences we can begin to heal at the very beginning of disharmony and therefore a more balanced, overall healing can occur.
When tested your body communicates which essence it needs. Many practitioners will use Bio-Kinesiology or Muscle Testing as a way of asking your body what essences it needs. I get excellent results by using a pendulum.
Essences do not interfere with any other medication you may be taking, they can only enhance its role, and they certainly do not take the place of any medicines you may need for physical or emotional ailments.
This procedure takes about ½ hour. The essences are put into a dropper bottle in a solution of distilled water and a little brandy to keep it fresh. You will also be given information to take home on each essence in your bottle, with detailed information on how to take the essence and storage of the essence bottle.
